When you have an ARC and have stayed in Taiwan for 6 successive months, you are required to join the Taiwan NHI plan. In order to qualify for the NHI plan, only one departure is permitted (of no more than 30 days) during the first 6-month period in Taiwan.

當你取得ARC後並成功於臺灣待滿6個月，依規定須加入全民健保。為了符合健保資格，取得居留證後的前6個月僅可出境一次(此次不可以超過30天)。
